I and K meet....

Even though Dave and I got to spend time with little I at the hospital, since it was an adoption we were not allowed to bring K to the hospital so he had to wait until I got to come home. The funniest part of the whole reunion was K yelling... "My Chocolate baby, My Chocolate Baby Brother Isaiah". He then proceeded to try to lick him.... we had to explain that he wasn't really "Chocolate" . I hope K wasn't to disappointed. You tell me... What do you think?

An Honorable Man....

Sunday June 7th David's Dad passed away.

My Father-in-law was diagnosed 2 1/2 years ago with Cancer.

He is a truly AMAZING man.

There are many things that I will miss

LIKE:

discussing our differences on Art and lying,
listening to him passionately discuss our religion,
going to him with questions I knew he would have the answers to,
hunting with him,
watching Mr. K sit in his lap and watch a football game,
joking with him,
but most of all,
just spending time with him.

I LOVE YOU DAD.
You will be missed!!

Oh, and if it isn't too much to ask, will you give A and M hugs from their Momma?

So Steven and I buzzed Mr. K's head before we went to Missouri.... Not so bad until I realized that my olive complexioned child had a WHITE head.... So for the next few months he will be sporting this look... Hoping that some day he may be able to see something other than his toes!
