In Exile....

I went to go to sleep tonight and this is what I found. Good thing I turned on the hall light before plopping into bed. I had officially been exciled from my very comfortable CALIFORNIA KING sized bed. Yes ladies, I did say California King and there still isn't any room for me. But on closer inspection this is what I saw...
It melted my heart and is the reason I broke out the camera at 12:30 am and risked waking my sleeping princes. This one moment makes all the others worth it! One in a million!

So my question of the night is.... Where's a girl supposed to sleep?

I especially like how Dave is hugging the edge of the bed and Keanon takes up ALL the footage! I have found myself sleeping at the foot of the bed a time or two just because that's the only place there's room. Not a great smell down there, but ya gotta sleep somehow!

I am somewhat of a bed snob-the room has to be cool (with a fan going) nice high thread count sheets, and a memory-foam mattress. But I would have to say that I would be proud to find my bed like that. I always say "let sleeping princesses lie!

You should try getting into bed while there is still hope, you night owl! So cute though! Still wondering if you guys will be in Logan on Saturday...

I feel your pain sister. We also upgraded to a Cal King because of kids kicking us out of our bed. I can't tell you how many nights I find myself hugging the edge of the bed, with James in the middle, then Val, and Katie on the other side snuggling with her dad. I can't tell you how often I hear the words "Daddy I need to snuggle." Val can't tell her no because soon she will grow up and will think her parents are freaks.

You have to treasure the moments when they are young. I am learning too well how fast they grow up and things change. Miss you!!

This was the cutest picture ever! I also have a California King and yes sometimes Aubrie finds her way there. (I hate it!) Your blog looks good - hope your trip was fun!
